There are arguably more Graupner motors extant than any other brand because Graupner is the main reseller of the inexpensive Chinese ferrite brushed motors. "Speed 400" and "Speed 600" motors are the basis for many plane designs. These motors arguably provide the most value for the money, but you're also talking about a Hyundai versus a BMW in terms of absolute performance.
